Product description
Thai Red Lobella Springtails, a beautiful, plump springtail originating from Thailand. These springtails add a bright pop of red to your bioactive terrarium while being an effective clean up crew. They are slower breeding than other species of springtails, slower moving, and don't jump. They prefer terrariums with higher humidity, moist soil, and warm temps. Your springtails will be shipped in a small deli cup on a damp paper towel. All orders include free heat packs or Ice packs dependent on your local weather. If temperatures are extremely cold or hot we recommend waiting to order until temps are safer for the springtails.
Care Requirements -
- Maintain a consistent temperature range of 72°F and 80°F (22°C - 26°C), ensure one side of the enclosure remains moist while the other side should be slightly more dry so they can choose which side to be on. A proper moisture gradient ensures a healthy colony. We aim for the humidity in our enclosures to be around 75% - 90%+ RH.
- Springtails eat mold spores and bacteria within your terrarium, if you want to speed up your colony growth we recommend adding a small amount of freeze dried minnows or springtail food. Regular feeding shouldn't be required in a bioactive terrarium.

- Springtails are shipped through USPS - We always include free heat packs/cold packs depending on your local weather.
- Extra springtails are always included incase of losses during the shipping process.
- Please message us prior to ordering if you want your order held at a pickup location/post office.
Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG)
For LAG replacements you must send us clear photos of DOA specimens with your username written on a piece of paper visible in the photos. You must reach out to us within 1 hour of delivery with the photos included. This is to ensure that your order hasn't been sitting out in the sun/cold all day causing the death of your perishable items and ensuring they have been brought indoors in a timely manner. Please send me a message if you have any issues with your order upon arrival. NOTE: Live Guarantee will be void if you order when your local weather is above 90 degrees Fahrenheit or below 35 degrees Fahrenheit at any point during the delivery period. Live guarantees are always valid on orders that upgrade their shipping speed to overnight or two day air shipping
