The perfect addition to any bioactive enclosure or reptile feeding needs, our temperate white springtail starter culture boasts calcium fortified clay that allows each culture to mature and become it's master culture over time. As the clay dries, it will allow the springtails more places to lay eggs and do springtail things within all the nooks and crannies of the media. Properly maintain your culture and you will have a good supply of springtails when you need them.
Arrival -
Your temperate white springtail starter culture will arrive in a sealed 8oz container. The inside will be lined with clay where your springtails will breed and live for as long as it is maintained.
Care -
Your springtails will be happiest at around 70-75 degrees Fahrenheit. Always ensure that your clay remains damp, if clay stars cracking too much and falling out give it a very light spray with a mister or a few drops with a dropper. If adding springtails to a bioactive terrarium you should not need to feed your springtails. However, if you're just keeping springtails you will need to feed them when food has run out. We feed our springtails our food we make in house to ensure healthy springtails and fast reproduction. Add just a tiny amount that they can consume every 24-48 hours.
For LAG replacements you must send us a clear video of DOA specimens. You must reach out to us within 1 hour of delivery with the video included. This is to ensure that your order hasn't been sitting out in the sun/cold all day causing the death of your perishable items and ensuring they have been brought indoors in a timely manner. Please send me a message if you have any issues with your order upon arrival.

Your product lived beyond the add. But I am telling you I ordered some a week prior and had all the same paper work and tub, but no sticker like yours. I cant find where I got them from which is very aggravating. Those are the ones I stated in a separate message were all dead. I am not sure if someone is flipping your product but hand written on the container was 2500 TW
