What makes our springtail food premium? We've done a lot of testing over the years and have included only the ingredients that our springtails love and increases colony reproduction (under proper living conditions). In each 3 ounce bag of springtail food is a powdered mix of mushrooms, rice, yeast, spirulina, and calcium all made fresh in house.
Feeding springtails is easy but takes some practice to get right without causing the food to mold. For a new/small colony just add a small sprinkle to the top of the terrarium and by small sprinkle we mean really small sprinkle. Only feed your springtails the amount that they can consume within 24 hours any long than this and the food could mold.
